Painted Leather Bag

Madeline Trait

Today I wanted to talk and show you about painting on all different kinds of objects and surfaces. Wood in it's many forms is a perfect surface to take paint. I like to use different 3-D shapes to keep it interesting such as my wood houses, wood boxes and wood beads. Next up is textiles and leather. I was reading one of the many wonderful design and saw a DIY for painting on leather and I had to try it! After a little bit of shopping, I came upon Baggu's simple and lovely leather pouches. (They are so soft) So I took one of my tropical flower sketches and applied it to the pouch and walah, you have a new accessory to add to the wardrobe. All I used was acrylic paint and my imagination, it's as easy as that.

This unique one-of-a-kind bag/art could be yours! It's for sale and I am not making any more exactly like this.
