GREAT.LY

Madeline Trait

I have you heard of Greatly?! It's a new marketplace where makers and tastemakers meet to bring you collections of handmade goods. Each tastemaker makes collections and then you can shop from them directly from the makers. However the creators explain it best so see their description below.

I am proud to be one of the makers and my cake toppers have been included in a couple tastemakers collections. (yeah!) Here we have one from Emily of Makelight that includes two of my flower cake toppers, see it here

There are a lot of amazing makers on GREAT.LY and the best part is that you don't have to search too hard since the tastemakers have created some collections for you.

Happy Shopping.

Press - Gather Magazine

Madeline Trait

I feel so grateful when people write about my work. I put so much into it and like it so much myself that I feel a sense of validation when a publication or even an individual feels so compelled that they write about it or just share with their friends. So without further adieu, my ombre bead garland has been included in Gather Magazine's spring issue! I love this garland and have several hanging in my house right now!

You can purchase the magazine and read some other great articles {here}!

Holly Jolly Craftmas

Madeline Trait

I like trying new things and thus this is how I find myself getting involved in various projects and events. Which brings me to the Holly Jolly Craftmas hosted by Artsy Heartsy Events. The concept was a one day pop up that brought event and crafty people together. This totally appeals to me because I do a bit of both with my event design service and then my celebration accessory product line that I am continually developing. (stay tuned for some new fun items in 2014) It was a great event where I was able to meet talented makers, beauticians, artists and event professionals. I look forward to see what develops for next year!

Here are some photos of my set-up. I always like to use these events as an opportunity to experiment with decor as well as merchandising. The best part of this display was my sparkly leaf backdrop which I plan to expand on in the future or event do a DIY post on.

Want to see more check out the rest of the event {here}
